What makes us different?

The ACT is a college readiness test given throughout the USA.
Thomas Jefferson ACT scores compared to State of Idaho averages June, 2010:

Average English score at TJCS:  25.5          Average Reading score at TJCS:  27.8
Average English score in State:  21.2           Average Reading score in State:  22.4
Average Math score at TJCS:  26.3               Average Science score at TJCS:  24.2
Average Math score in State:  21.4               Average Science score in State:  21.6
50% of our concurrent Chemistry students scored in the top quartile in the nation on the American Chemical Society Exam, given to college freshman Chemistry students.

Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Grade students at Thomas  Jefferson Charter School have the opportunity to take elective courses through Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA).  To learn more about courses offered, student responsibilities, parent responsibilities, and class organization click here.

 **All sophomores took the PSAT as practice this year.  I would like to encourage you to go online and become familiar with both the College Board site and the ACT site.  The sites are geared toward the SAT and ACT respectively.  The addresses are: www.collegeboard.com and www.actstudent.org.
